With it being so significant it is good that roofs last so long eventually.But there will actually be times when they get old and need to be maintained.Here are some things to look for to know if your roofneeds immediate attention.

First of all if your roof is 20 years or even older, you can definitely have it inspected.Once the roof begins getting that old usually there will be problems.  Most of my customers who call in to my San Diego roofing company are people who do have older roofs.  So once you know that your roof is getting older you should have it repaired.

The next thing you need to check for are the probably missing parts of your roof. You can see missing shingles in your roof sometimes. Although not guaranteed to have a leak it is a good sign when things like that start to fall off.  I tell people in  my Carlsbad roofing company once they have parts of their roof falling off it is time to get it checked out.

The next thing you want to check for are leaks.Of course you absolutely have to wait till it rains but small leaks actually mean big problems.  That is when we start to get a lot of calls in my Rancho Bernardo roofing company.  The moment rainy season is upon us the calls seem to come in a lot.The reason why small leaks are problems is absolutely because it usually means there are more troubles to come.  At that point you really need to have it inspected.
